Scholarships

Apply by May 1st for a 2017-2018 CPF Scholarship! 

The California Planning Foundation (CPF) is pleased to announce its 2017 scholarship program for outstanding planning students enrolled at eligible professional planning degree programs in the state of California.  Scholarships are awarded to students seeking to enter the planning profession based on an application and selection process by the CPF Board. These scholarships are designed for continuing students entering their final year of an eligible undergraduate or graduate degree program. A list of eligible degree programs is
provided on the following page. Criteria for the scholarships include academic performance, financial need, increasing diversity in the planning profession, and a commitment to serve the planning profession in California after graduation. Students are eligible to receive more than one scholarship. Separate applications to specific scholarships is not required; only a single application is needed.

The deadline to apply for 2017 CPF Scholarships is Monday, May 1, 2017. Applicants will be reviewed for all scholarships for which they are eligible.

About CPF Scholarships

Each year CPF invites planning students to compete for a number of scholarships. Scholarships are offered to students enrolled in eligible planning programs in California.

Scholarships are awarded to students seeking to enter the planning profession based on an application and selection process by the CPF Board. These scholarships are designed for continuing students entering their final year of an eligible undergraduate or master’s degree program. Criteria for the scholarships include academic performance, financial need, increasing diversity in the planning profession, and a commitment to serve the planning profession in California after graduation. All scholarships include a one-year APA student membership.
